Courtyard Music Series: Whetherman
June 21, 2013 | 7:30-10
Since 2007, Whetherman has been the brainchild of 28 year-old independent artist Nicholas Williams, who has released five albums of melody-filled folk singer/songwriter tunes that reach gently into your heart, while questioning your conviction through prose.
The most recent release, 'Streams and Pastures' in March of 2013 is the first introduction of an electic band that has broadened the sound ...of Whetherman over the last few years at several festivals, into the Roots/Folkgrass/Soul/Latin spectrum, while maintaining the Singer-Songwriter approach with beautiful harmonies that has been artfully established prior. The band members include JP Salvat, Rachel Murray, Alex Hayward, Adam Mantovani and Drew Matulich. The 'Streams and Pastures' LP is currently available for FREE download, limited time only at: whetherman.bandcamp.com/
This Spring, Williams will be venturing on the 'Pleasant Plain' solo acoustic tour, that will span the East Coast and Midwest. The band is gearing up for summer and fall performances including the prestigious Floyd Festival in July, as well as Southeast tour dates that will be announced throughout 2013.
All of Whetherman's music is available for download on Bandcamp, iTunes and Facebook as well as physical purchase on Amazon.com.
