After a three-year hiatus, September 2017 saw Visible Voice Books reopen its doors in the same Tremont neighborhood, but with a new Professor Avenue address. This urban retreat for curious readers and creative thinkers is eager to connect with art, ideas, people and tastes that challenge their world view. Visit the locally-owned bookstore to take a chance on up-and-coming authors or reconnect with the greats, explore other worlds or take a closer look at the one you live in, uncover history or debate current events.

Our location in the heart of the eclectic Tremont neighborhood on Cleveland’s near west side has all the charm of the original Visible Voice with twice the space AND a 24-car parking lot. It has more room for books, literary gifts, CLE-made merch, author events, musical performances and a café. And now, in addition to an ever rotating array of seasonal wines and craft beer, Visible Voice is able to offer locally-made pastries, specialty teas and brew-in-house java from award-winning, sustainability-minded local and regional roasters.
The re imagined building is large enough to also house neighborhood pizzeria Crust on its first floor and Proof BBQ on the lower level. Enjoy one of two outdoor patios, offerings from either (or both) restaurants, and pick up a new read – all in one location.
