Saturday Sessions: Ricardo Morales Vivero (Free Event)

Join us from 2PM - 4PM for our Saturday Sessions, featuring a variety of different musical talents each week.

This is a free event; all are welcome.

Ricardo Morales Vivero is a guitarist and composer born in Quito, Ecuador. He studied jazz guitar at the Franz Liszt Conservatory in Quito and got his B.A in Jazz Studies from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. A musician with an eclectic background, Ricardo brings together a variety of genres to deliver a sound that feels fresh but familiar to listeners from all around the world. He was a recipient of the “Unidos por el Arte” grant from the Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center. He used the grant to record and release his debut album "Introspectiva". You can find it on all streaming platforms.

Guitarist Ricardo Morales Vivero is joined by saxophonist Ronell Regis for an evening of original compositions and jazz standards. Ricardo and Ronell have shared the stage in different bands but this is their debut performance as a duo. They are excited to present their music in this new collaboration.
