Join Renovare Music for a powerful and uplifting event that celebrates the voices and stories of Cleveland’s refugee and immigrant communities. In partnership with The Hope Center, Renovare’s trained Teaching Artists are collaborating directly with community members to create original Documentary Songs (DocSongs) that reflect their journeys, hopes, and experiences.
Through the innovative process of Documentary Songwriting, individuals—regardless of musical background—are empowered to share their personal narratives and transform them into high-quality songs. These unique musical pieces are not only a testament to resilience and creativity, but also serve to foster understanding and inspire meaningful action within the broader community.
This event is part of Renovare Music’s mission to bridge divided communities and create restorative experiences through music, storytelling, and relationships. As a Cleveland-based 501c3 nonprofit chamber ensemble, Renovare brings together diverse voices to amplify stories that urgently need to be heard.
