Kitchen Table Songs Hosted By Brent Kirby with Special Guest Caleb Stine

Pull up a chair and join us for the latest installment of Kitchen Table Songs — an intimate event where the heart of songwriting takes center stage. Each month, host Brent Kirby welcomes Caleb Stine for a seat at the table

The two will explore the artist’s background, influences, songwriting process, and inspiration. Audience members are invited to add their own questions, making for a lively, engaging conversation that breaks down the barriers of a traditional stage and feels more like a conversation between friends. After the discussion, settle in for a 45 minute set of original music from Stine.

Whether you’re a musician, a fan, or simply curious about the magic behind songwriting, Kitchen Table Songs offers a unique, intimate, and insightful evening of music and conversation. Come for the stories, stay for the songs—and discover why the kitchen table is where the music truly begins.

This event is free and open to the public.

Caleb Stine can guarantee he’s got a song just for you.  The Colorado native plays over 130 shows a year, has opened for artists like Jason Isbell, Sierra Hull, and Los Lobos, and just released his fifteenth album of original music. Flying just below the mainstream radar, Stine attributes the city of Baltimore with his 20+ year music career. He keeps a grass-roots presence by frequenting venues up and down the East Coast and passing on a rallying cry of hope to audiences both big and small. As Americana UK writes, ‘Stine’s upfront personality is seeking to make a personal connection with everyone in the venue.’ The songs from his new album ‘Nickels and Dimes’ are snapshots of his life these days as a working musician, new father and wanna-be cowboy – there’s something there for everyone. At once accessible and intimate, the collection embodies one of Stine’s deeply held beliefs: “Just like each flower’s held up by a stem, everyone needs a song just for them.”

Kitchen Table Songs is part of our Echoes music series, a free monthly series celebrating Cleveland’s homegrown music scene through five distinct events, each with its own dedicated day of the month. For more information on Drop the Needle and our other Echoes events, check out the link below.
