This is the BIG release day for WHERE SHIT HAPPENED: The Paper Trail to Speak In Tongues is a visual history of Cleveland's beloved DIY music venue, active from 1994-2001. This 504-page, full-color, hardcover book provides a chronological archive of hundreds of fliers, photographs, clippings and assorted ephemera. Thoughtfully curated by editor John Delzoppo and dynamically arranged by designer Ron Kretsch, this collection tells the story of Speak In Tongues in a new and exciting way. It serves both to remind you of what you saw and to inform you of what you missed.

Musician and mixed-media artist Christa Ebert performs as Uno Lady, a one-woman choir, and composes songs using her voice, natural sounds, and electronic tools. She constructs sonic worlds with dream-like vocal layers and looping ethereal tones. Also as a video artist, she creates nature inspired stop-motion music videos to accompany her compositions. Christa has recorded and produced nine releases. Her unique talent has been recognized through numerous awards, including support from the Ohio Arts Council, Creative Impact Fund, Creative Workforce Fellowship, and the Panza Foundation, as well as residencies and fellowships with Bloedel Reserve in Washington, Chulitna Lodge in Alaska, The Ellis-Beauregard Foundation in Maine, Foundation House in Connecticut, SPACE’s Urgent Art Fund in Ohio, Chateau Orquevaux in France, and Akron Soul Train.
