Writers in Residence Fundraiser & Chapbook Release

Join us at Visible Voice Books on October 1 for an evening with Writers in Residence, a Northeast Ohio nonprofit that teaches creative writing to incarcerated youth, helping them find and strengthen their voices while supporting their re-entry into society.

Through creative writing, Writers in Residence creates space for young people to express themselves, tell their stories, and develop a voice of their own. Their work is supported by teaching artists, college student volunteers, and facilities throughout Northeast Ohio, creating safe and healing spaces where writing can become a way to connect, reflect, and imagine what comes next.

During the evening, Writers in Residence will share more about their work through a presentation and offer their chapbooks for sale. Come learn about the organization, hear about the writing being produced through its programs, and support their ongoing work with young writers.

Tickets include your choice of a wine flight or a non-alcoholic beverage, so settle in, have a drink, and spend the evening celebrating the power of writing and the voices behind it.

This event is open to the public, to register follow the link below.
