Teen Voice Writing Workshop with Lake Erie Ink
Saturday, January 20 @ 1:00pm - 3:00pmLake Erie Ink is venturing from Cleveland Heights to Tremont for three Saturdays in January with teen writing workshops and a culminating open mic night!
Calling all 6-12 graders, join us for this drop-in writing workshop to respond to creative prompts with workshop poetry or prose. $5 suggested donation, scholarships available.
Then join us for the Free Open Mic on Saturday 1/27 from 7:00-9:00pm to read your work for a captive audience. All are invited to listen and be inspired by teen voice.
Lake Erie Ink is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 that provides creative expression opportunities and academic support to youth in the Greater Cleveland community. Born out of poetry clubs in Cleveland Heights schools, Lake Erie Ink believes that creative writing is not only for kids and teens who already love writing, but also for youth who have something say and too often feel that no one is listening.
