Local Authors Talk about their latest novel at Visible Voice Books.
This is a free event; all are welcome.
The Event
While Zonneville’s and Adams’s books are quite different, these two authors love to team up to talk about their books and tell entertaining stories about their process and experiences. They’ll be on hand to chat about their books and sign copies on Friday, September 25, from 6 to 8 pm. at Visible Voice, 4601 Lorain Ave., Cleveland.
About the Authors
Adams is a native Clevelander and author of both fiction and nonfiction works. She is also a speaker, instructor, and event coordinator. Her love of local history, music, and pop culture is the inspiration and driving force behind all her books, which include three books on Cleveland rock history and five novels, all set in northeast Ohio.
While Deanna Adams loves writing about the Cleveland music scene, she is also hooked on fiction and has just released her fifth novel, The Kryptonite Club, a young adult novel about a school shooting that prompts an unlikely bond between the assailant’s twin brother, Kurt Hutchinson, rebel girl Tammi Campbell, and three other troubled teens.
This comes on the heels of her 2024 novel, A Place We Belong, an historical novel set in Cleveland during Eliot Ness’s reign as city safety director.
Deanna Adams is an award-winning, multi-genre writer, speaker, instructor, and author, whose work has been published in a variety of publications. She is far too interested in books of all genres to stick to just one and so she writes both fiction and nonfiction. Deanna loves bringing writers together with her annual writers' conferences and is known as "The Book Whisperer" for the Cuyahoga County Library's William N. Skirball Writers Center. She's a music lover, animal lover, and of course, book lover
Books by K. Adrain Zonneville
Charlie's Wiener: K. Adrain Zonneville performed for more than half a century as Charlie Wiener, a professional singer/Songwriter/musician/Comedian. Performing in 49 states, half of Canada, Ireland, and the Netherlands. He shared the stage with such notables as Gordon Lightfoot, Randy Newman, John Prine. Michael Stanley, Eddie Money, Todd Rundgren, Cheap Trick and a host of others. After 57 years as a performer, he hung up his guitar and jokes to stay at home and write books. His second great love. He has now produced twelve books including a memoir of David Spero, 'A Life in The Wings', a biography of his father, 'Z', a children's book about the family dog, Greta, Lost Dog found, and nine novels which run the gamut from general fiction to light fantasy. Each book has received glowing reviews by those who are now faithful followers. His last two novels, Tales of the High Seas and Lowlands, and 'Die-alogue' are considered by many to be his best thus far. Written under his real name, K. Adrain Zonneville, instead of Charlie Wiener as they are not really Charlie books. Though maybe he will perform some songs on September 25th as he and Deanna discuss their books!
