A grandchild of twin migrations from the Alabama and Puerto Rico, olula negre, is a creative musician (cello/voice/banjo), avant-folklorist and multi-disciplinary artist based between Cleveland, OH and Chicago, IL. olula creates multi-instrumental electroacoustic music utilizing their cello, voice, banjo and small instruments in combination with effects pedals to create new music that queers contemporary classical, experimental jazz, and folk traditions.
