Echoes Music Series
Echoes is a free monthly series celebrating Cleveland’s homegrown music scene through five distinct events, each with its own dedicated day of the month. From live performances and songwriting conversations to vinyl listening sessions, poetry, and music education, each event offers a different way to connect with music and the community. Together, these programs bring people together to discover local artists, share ideas, and experience music in new ways all as our way of giving back to the community.
Poets Jam with Ray McNeice

On the fourth Thursday of each month, join Ray McNiece and the Tongue in Groove Trio for an open mic poetry and spoken word night with live accompaniment. One of the area’s foremost poets, McNiece encourages poets of all talents to read their poetry while being backed by musicians who play their instruments to the rise and fall of the words being spoken.
ROOTS: Masters of American Music
ROOTS, a nonprofit committed to preserving the rich and diverse history of American music, has partnered with Visible Voice Books to present their series, Masters of American Music on the fourth Wednesday of every month. This features a ROOTS teaching artist who will discuss and perform music that highlights and celebrates a musician who has been influential to them personally and has also been woven into the fabric of American music.

Saturday Sessions

Each week, a new local artist takes the stage, bringing their own sound and style to our unique and intimate space. Come hear something new and experience live music in an up-close setting.

Brent Kirby
On the second Wednesday of each month from 6-8pm, pull up a chair to the kitchen table with songwriter and musician Brent Kirby as he welcomes a fellow songwriter for an intimate conversation about their career, inspirations, and songwriting process, with time for audience questions. The conversation wraps up with a live performance and a look at the stories behind the songs.
Held on the third Thursday of each month from 6–8pm, this monthly listening experience brings the community together around an influential album. Each month, a local music expert selects an album and shares the stories, context, and sounds that make it special. Then we drop the needle and listen together, from side A to side B, before opening the floor for audience reactions and discussion.
